Hi there.

A little bit about me and my journey. My career has largely been in education, spending 35 years in the teaching profession, with a large part of that time in senior pastoral leadership roles including that of Head Teacher. When I decided to retire from teaching, I knew that I wanted to build on all that experience and continue to make a difference.

As part of that career change, I took up studying again, have qualified as a hypnotherapist and am a registered member of the National Hypnotherapy Society. I am also in the process of completing a professional Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling.

My passion and motivation have always been to help others fulfil their potential and where possible to help remove any barriers that get in the way. I’ve always been fascinated by how life’s experiences and relationships shape and mould a person’s personality and how the mind can influence our behaviours for better or for worse. Hypnotherapy, in the hands of a skilled practitioner, is an effective, natural and safe therapy which can bring about big changes in a person’s quality of life, helping them to experience the world in a new and meaningful way. It has been a real privilege, in practising hypnotherapy, to have made a tangible difference with clients, assisting with a diverse variety of issues, whether I’m helping them work through a fear of flying, or helping them prepare for childbirth, or helping them with confidence and motivation support. The wisdom and diverse nature of those years working in a school environment are certainly being put to good use.

I look forward to you taking the next step, getting in touch and having a free consultation with me in order to explore whether hypnotherapy can help you make those changes you are seeking.
